On August 9th, 2023, the Indywood Film Society officially started a collaboration with Christ College, Irinjalakkuda for running a Film Club under the society.  The collaborative event unfolded within the premises of the college's seminar hall. Commencing with a serene prayer, the occasion featured Dr. K.J. Vargheese - Associate Professor, Dean of International Relations, and the Film Club Coordinator, who extended a warm welcome through a speech. This was followed by a significant moment as they inked the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).

Rev. Dr. Jolly Andrews CMI, the Principal, delivered an esteemed presidential address, while Fr. Joy Peenikaparambil, the College Manager, extended his felicitations. Ms. Sumy Mary Kuriakose - Senior Project Manager of Indywood Film Club added intellectual value by delivering an enlightening lecture on the Film Club. Concluding the formal segment, a student named Bhavan conveyed gratitude through a vote of thanks.

Simultaneously, a workshop on "Film Making" was conducted in collaboration with the Indywood Film Society. The esteemed Actor and Director, Mr. Biju Majeed, took charge of the workshop. During the interactive session, Mr. Biju Majeed expertly elucidated the various stages of filmmaking, using his personal experiences to illustrate how they interlace with the cinematic process.

The event winded up with the joining of more than 85 students joining the film club the same day.
