Indywood Film Society officially inaugurated its Film Club 'Navaras' at Gov.Model Engineering College,Kochi, on Tuesday, 27th June 2023. The program took place in the college seminar hall. The event started with a blissful prayer and Sri. Jimmy John, the Film & Drama Club coordinator, delivered the welcome speech. Principal Dr. Jacob gave the presidential address. Renowned writer and director, Sri. As the chief guest, P.K. Sunil Nath delivered an enlightening lecture and inaugurated the club. The formal function concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Edwin James, a student of Mechanical Engineering. A “Film Making” workshop was conducted on the same day in Association with the Indywood Film Society. The workshop was facilitated by actor and director Mr. Biju Majeed. Jayan MC, the film club's faculty coordinator, welcomed the workshop attendees. During the session, Mr. Biju Majeed taught various stages of filmmaking, and shared his filmmaking experiences by explaining how they relate to the cinematic process.
